French-Luxembourgish conductor Thomas Raoult is the artistic director and conductor of the Nouvel Orchestre Symphonique, created in September 2020 in collaboration with musicians from the Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg (OPL). He previously headed Luxembourg's international choir Voices International and is also the founder and conductor of the Atelier Lyrique de Luxembourg and the choir Lux Vocalis.
The New Symphony Orchestra gave its first two concerts in June 2021, presenting works by Mozart, Mercadante and Tchaikovsky.
