KOLL AN AKTIOUN 2022
After two years, the Koll an Aktioun finally returns to the historic site of the Slate Museum in Haut-Martelange.
On the Whitsun weekend, 4 and 5 June, the 7th edition offers a wide and varied programme for young and old.
The last two years have clearly shown that the creation of spaces for meeting and cultural exchange is of great importance!
As in every edition, the festival offers activities for the whole family, respecting nature and the environment and integrating local actors and associations. Musical performances, cultural and culinary activities will be part of the programme.

The festival is changing and will have a slightly different setting this year. This also applies to tickets, so hurry as they are limited, you can buy day tickets here on our website. Admission is free for children up to and including the age of 15.

ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
About the site : Musée de l’Ardoise Haut – Martelange
The site of the former slate quarries of Haut-Martelange, where slate was mined and transformed into a finished product, is now the Musée de l’Ardoise Haut-Martelange. With its underground mines, industrial buildings and dwellings, it is in fact a whole village. The architecture has created a homogeneous whole which charms with its post-industrial atmosphere of time travel. The Musée de l’Ardoise (Slate Museum) is a large site covering 8 hectares and shows the living memory of the slate mining past.
A musical, family, cultural and culinary festival in the northwest of Luxembourg!
Since 2014, one weekend a year, Koll an Aktioun offers a varied programme for families as well as for culture, food and music lovers. Over the years, the festival, which takes place on the sublime and historic site of the Musée de l’Ardoise in Haut-Martelange, has become an integral part of the Luxembourg cultural agenda. More than 3,000 people attend the festival every year. The Koll an Aktioun is organisedby over 30 volunteers who share not only their passion for music but also for the environment. Minimising its impact on nature is one of the key components of Koll an Aktioun. Sustainability is a key element of the festival!
Festival de Wiltz
The line-up of the prestigious Wiltz Festival, which will take place this year from 26 June to 16 July in the amphitheatre at the foot of Wiltz Castle, is complete. Recently, a final act was added to the already varied programme: the American singer-songwriter LP.
Summer is just around the corner! In 2022, the Wiltz Festival will once again present itself with a top line-up in a large open-air tent on the amphitheatre site. In the background, the beautiful and picturesque Wiltz Castle. In addition to our latest addition to the festival line-up with LP, a true classic, the operetta ‘Dielustige Witwe’ from the Trier theatre, has been added to the programme.
The whole line-up reads like a journey through the music history of the last decades: Mando Diao, Passenger and the Gipsy Kings will be on stage this year.
The programme will be rounded off with “Das Dschungelbuch” as a children’s musical and a gala concert by the Weeltzer Musek.
This year, the traditional open-air festival celebrates its 70th anniversary – making it one of the most renowned festivals in the Grand Duchy and the entire Euregio.
